seeing as it's Easter, I thought I'd run with the theme & post this shot I took 4 or 5 years ago of Saint Mary's Cathedral on a sunny afternoon in Sydney. It was built in 1868 (3 years after the first one burnt down... hmm who threw the lightening bolt then??) & is a good example of gothic revival architecture, designed by William Wilkinson Wardell. I used a 1962 Ricoh fixed lens rangefinder that I'd scored for $20 - a big brick of a thing with the film advance lever on the bottom. It lasted one roll of film (but is repairable - maybe one day...). I included this image in my 2007 exhibition;Heaven (is looking up).
